The Ally $DRCT token is now live on the decentralized exchange, Uniswap. Uniswap is an Ethereum-based decentralized exchange (DEX) that allows anyone to swap ERC20 tokens.

 

Why Uniswap?

For the last two years, the Ally Platform has been centralized. Now that $DRCT is on Uniswap, the Platform becomes decentralized. This allows more users to interact with the Ally ecosystem as the $DRCT token is now available to more people on a global scale.

Uniswap functions as a “public good” to allow the community to trade tokens without platform fees or middlemen. This is a founding principle of how Ally operates, making Uniswap a perfect choice for releasing $DRCT to the world.

The Ally Platform was previously centralized. This was so the Platform could be run on a private chain for testing to make sure everything would run correctly.
